Cheetahs are the worlds fastest land mammal at 60 mph. Leopards run up to 55 mph. The leopard is a solitary animal that prefers more shaded areas with plenty of foliage. Their success comes from great power while hunting. The cheetah is much smaller and prefers wide open spaces and smaller prey than the leopard.
