Snow Leopards prefer steep, rugged terrains with rocky outcrops and ravines. This type of habitat provides good cover and clear view to help them sneak up on their prey. They are found at high elevations of 3000-4500 meters (9800 ft to 14800 ft.), and even higher in the Himalayas. The snowy peaks act as a camouflage for the animal.

I LOVE SNOW LEOPARDS!! the are very cute and beautyful. have any of you guys seen a snow leopard? i sure haven’t. i REALLY want to see one though. i’m useing the topic of snow leopards for my GATE program. if you guys ever find any good pics. [ and i mean GOOD ] of snow leopards then just post them here.

y would you give your own life for one of these cats. Sure there great to look at and they have super cool tails, but when you think about it you really need to let nature do its thing. When it comes to poaching, i say we shoot those motherfuckers in the head, or at least put them on trial for their crimes. you know what, ive changed my mind. im guna go martyr myself for these animals. I absolutely love these animals. It’s strange that their coat actually changes colour during the winter – very unusual. It’s so tragic that their numbers have declined so significantly with time.

Cats are my life. Snow tigers and snow leopards are my favourite, they are the sparkle of the winter animals. Even though i am a vegetarian and don’t wear fur there fur is gorgeous. So white and pure and soft. My mum works in Chester Zoo and i see every animal and one eay i feed a snow tiger called Skyler. She brought happiness to my heart and now she has 2 cubs called Snowball and ariel. The hunters must be horrible to kill these poor incent creature and when i read this website and looked at the pictures i cried all night. My life will never be the same if they do brcome more endangered. I believe them hunters should be huntered down, there skin torn of and made into coats and eat thre meat. SEE HOW THEY’D LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve always LOVED Cats, and I find them very sensational and a gift from heaven.But there are so many idiots in this greed craving world that kill them and sell them for there parts.And i hate having to see these poor snow leopards and panthers and so on being captives in the zoos. but anyway these pictures are breath taking and I really feel as if i’m there staring into there wild,untamed eyes.Cats are amazing and I just wish more people could open there eyes and try save them before their lost forever.
