What you think the Bunyip is depends on your personality and beleif system. Skeptical people would dismiss it as real at once. More logical people with a little imagination thrown in might consider it real, as a hippo or something. And then there's unusual people like me. I'm a creationist, which means I believe, among many other things, that humans and dinosuars existed at the same time. Thus to me, it perfects sense that tales of the Bunyip are drawn up from memories of dinosaurs; maybe some even still exist. What else could it be--? It's as big as a hippo, it roars, eats people, has a long neck, and after all, many dinosaurs are said to be birdlike.

sure it sounds like a hippo...but the only thing is that the article says that recent reportings say that bunyips have a long, thin neck and a bird-like head...that would be one creepy hippo LOL
