I was speaking to my friends in Guyana and they spoke of a tall ,walking creature called a moon-walker. It was seen by my friends mother. Is there any information available? It is about 8-10 feet tall.

I saw a show that had a deer-like creature with gills. The natives hunted this creature for food as it was common to the area. . The folks videoing it all had never before seen this creature and it became a newly discovered species. Does anyone know what it is called and is there photos or videos available?
