i cant beleave dodos died in the 17th cencury i mean i am only turning 12 and i now alot about animals and if the birds died in the 17th cencury thay did not have many of them if thats when they died its relly sad im so disaponted on earth

According to accounts on the internet the Dodo became extint in the 17th century. I question this since I recall in the late 50’s early 60’s a news report about the last Dodo that died in a zoo. As I recall it was in California. I can not find any mention of that on the web.

My daughter recently had to do a project on birds,we sugested that she write it on the dodo. I must say what a sad journy it was to read what we as humans can do.If we do not wake up soon enough man wil be its own demize.
